Yes, and I Simultaneously Find It Both Exhilarating and More Than a Little Frightening

I find it exhilarating to know that a chance encounter can have such a profound impact on my life. I find it more than a little frightening for much the same reason. Some encounters, no matter how beneficial or benign they might appear in the moment, can eventually result in personal disaster. Or just a really painful lesson. In any case, it can certainly challenge one’s belief in a benevolent higher power that has one’s best interests at heart. I guess that is when one’s faith comes into play. 😉
