Two Titans of Terror

Welcome to October 2025. With October we often think about its associated holiday, Halloween. It’s a time of year when even some of the more timid and fearful of us go out of our way to seek out a fright, a thrill, an uneasiness, a sense of horror… if only in our imaginations and the imaginations of those that tell dark tales.
I have previously shared my admittedly limited experience with the works of writers H. P. Lovecraft and Edgar Allan Poe. But I came across two short videos on these two masters of the horror genre and I thought that I should share them with anyone that happens upon this pirate’s humble blog. So by all means, feel free to listen to that voice telling you to give the videos a viewing and perhaps delve into their works… if you dare.
