The Answers That I Seek
Updated: Dec 6, 2024
Truth be told, I may want answers to my questions, but I am getting more and more comfortable with the fact that I may never get those answers. I’m getting more comfortable with the idea that perhaps I have already gotten some of those answers and that I either haven’t recognized those answers and/or that I haven’t accepted the answers. I’m even getting more comfortable with the possibility that, as it concerns some things, there may be no answers. And I am coming to terms with the possibility or even the likelihood that having the answers isn’t particularly important in the grand scheme of things.
Maybe not having some of the answers is a kindness, not a curse. Perhaps, at least some of the time, ignorance is truly bliss. I can honestly say that sometimes knowing something was not a comfort and sometimes it brought me heartbreak.
