“Semi-True Story” (Mac McAnally)

I remember this song from Jimmy Buffett's Beach House on the Moon album. It's not my favorite Jimmy Buffett album, but I really like it. I also enjoyed taking a "staff development" trip with my friends and colleagues at Eastern Guilford Middle School to attend the Raleigh, North Carolina concert for that album in 1999. It was particularly fun to be singing and shouting along with my educator friends during Jimmy's performance of "Math Sux." 😂

I too have been guilty of boldly proclaiming my feelings of affection for a woman due to having partaken of "...too much tequila or not quite enough." Well, tequila or some other intoxicating beverage. 😉 👩
