I recently posted to this blog a post about military wargaming and the civilian wargaming hobby, “When Is a Game Not a Game?” (https://www.apirateontheprairie.com/post/when-is-a-game-not-a-game). That post included links to some videos on wargaming conducted by the United States Navy and its United States Naval War College.
Below are more links to videos from the Invicta YouTube channel regarding wargaming by the United States Navy, the evolving war plan created by the military leaders of the United States for the fight against Imperial Japan, an examination of the “turning point” Battle of Midway, and a tour of the United States Naval War College in Newport, Rhode Island. Click on the links below to watch the videos.
I kind of wish that I had made arrangements to visit the museum at the United States Naval War College when I visited Newport last year. Oh well, maybe next time.
