How to Make Green Russians (and the Peppermint Patty and the Black Mexican)

Okay, to be clear, the recipe for the Green Russian from the animated series, Archer, sounds pretty disgusting. Absinthe, vodka, and heavy cream?! YUCK! Well don't you worry. Somebody else has made the sacrifice and tried it himself. And yes, it is evidently just as disgusting as it sounds.
Nick Fisher at Cocktail Chemistry gives it a try in the name of bar art and science. But he doesn't just leave you hanging with a drink that only a fictional spy that grew up on a dairy farm could love. Instead, he creates his own version of the Green Russian. And while I haven't tried it myself, the recipe certainly sounds more appealing than Pam Poovey's absinthe, vodka, and dairy cocktail.
