I recently had the opportunity to take a flight over the majestic landscape around Moab, Utah and it was well-worth the money. I did one of Redtail Air’s Canyonlands & Arches National Parks Combo Air Tours and it was an awesome experience. Our pilot, James, was great and he gave us “adventurers” a great aerial view of two of our country’s visually stunning national parks.

Having driven and hiked to view parts of both national parks in the days leading up to our aerial tour, it was great to take in the scenery from the air and to get a better glimpse into just how expansive and rugged both national parks really are. If you’re an outdoor enthusiast that is into camping, canoeing, kayaking, rafting, rock-climbing/mountaineering, hiking, mountain-biking, and/or off-roading, I think that you will find Moab and Southern Utah to be a great destination for your adventures. The aerial tour along with a 9:00 PM astronomy-themed “Ranger Talk” at Green River Overlook in Canyonlands National Park were the highlights of my recent adventure in Southern Utah.

Below is a link to the Redtail Air website and a link to the webpage describing the aerial tour that I took. I would certainly recommend that you take one of their tours if you have the time and the means.

Note: I didn’t realize before visiting Canyonlands National Park that ravens were indigenous to that part of the country. It was an educational experience!
