Finding My License to Chill

License to Chill. This is becoming one of my favorite Jimmy Buffett albums. I have been listening to it more lately. I have loved “Coast of Carolina” for some time, but now the entire album is getting some love from me. It is loaded with songs pairing Jimmy with big names Alan Jackson, Kenny Chesney, Toby Keith, Martina McBride, George Strait, Clint Black, Bill Withers, and Nanci Griffith. How could I not like this album?

The title track now reminds me of the Timber Lake Playhouse production of Escape to Margaritaville that I attended on its opening night earlier this summer. Fantastic show and the cast knocked it out of the park singing this tune during the opening scene on the island.
