Farewell, Pluto.

I recently mentioned Pluto and his brother Edgar in a blog post referencing The Poe Museum in Richmond, Virginia (https://gregorymaness.wixsite.com/website/post/getting-to-know-the-master-of-the-macabre). Sadly, for the museum staff, his brother, and his many admirers and fans, I learned today that Pluto has died.
I am grateful to hear that his passing was peaceful, that he was surrounded by those that loved him, and that it took place in such beautiful and familiar surroundings. Some people are not as fortunate in the circumstances of their passing. Edgar Allan Poe himself did not fare as well. I suspect that Poe, a cat lover, would have approved of the fine send-off though.
