EZD6 Like Sunday Morning?

I have a handful of family members and friends that have either played tabletop roleplaying games (TTRPGs) or currently play TTRPGs. But I don't know that any of them have ever played TTRPGs with their children. On one hand I can understand it if they haven't, as TTRPGs likely represent an "escape" from the day-to-day world and an opportunity to game with friends. On the other hand, it seems like a wasted opportunity not to spend some quality family time together doing something that the whole family can enjoy and that can benefit their child or children.

TTRPGs are a creative exercise and a collaborative one unless you are playing a solo game. Imagine telling your kids a ghost story that allows your kids to add to the story and make themselves the heroes of the story. Or a story about brave adventurers in a fantasy setting. Or a story about a ragtag starship crew exploring a science fiction universe where a previously undiscovered alien civilization is just waiting to be found. Or a story about a party of plucky Western heroes protecting innocent folks from a villainous band of outlaws. Or a story about a pack of meddling kids and their dog traveling around in a van with a psychedelic paint job that uncovers a mystery that needs solving. The possibilities for telling a "funtastic" story are really only limited by your imaginations.
