You can play tabletop roleplaying games (TTRPGs) set in any number of settings. And if you can be a fearsome, roguish, swashbuckling, cutlass-wielding/rapier-wielding, rum-swilling pirate festooned with a brace of flintlock pistols, why not?

PIRATE BORG is a TTRPG based on the rules of the MÖRK BORG TTRPG which is characterized by its creators as “…a pitch-black apocalyptic fantasy RPG about lost souls and fools seeking redemption, forgiveness or the last remaining riches in a bleak and dying world.” The creators of PIRATE BORG characterize their game as “A scurvy-ridden, rules light, art heavy tabletop RPG.” Frankly, while the MÖRK BORG setting doesn’t really interest me, PIRATE BORG sounds like fun to me and the reviews for the game are very complimentary.
