If you have watched the iconic movie, a Bridge Too Far, or watched the Band of Brothers miniseries, you are familiar with the Allied military operation in World War II known as Market Garden. You know that the operation was a failure and ended hopes for a relatively sudden end to the fighting in Europe. But do you know why it was doomed to failure?
