You Can Be Heroes

Free League Publishing has begun its crowdfunding campaign for Invincible, a tabletop roleplaying game (TTRPG) set in the world of superheroes and supervillains portrayed in the comic book series written by Robert Kirkman of The Walking Dead fame and the animated series showing on Amazon Prime. There are a number of superhero TTRPGs on the market. I currently own the Marvel Multiverse Role-Playing Game and I am hoping to eventually sit down and play the game with a group (in-person and/or online) and/or as a solo participant. I used to play the old TSR game, Marvel Super Heroes Advanced Set, with my brothers and friends and we had a great time. With that being said, Invincible looks interesting and Free League Publishing is an acclaimed publisher of award-winning games. It is doubtful that they will drop a dud or fail to deliver a finished product that meets their typical high-standards.

If you are familiar with the Invincible comic or the animated series, this product may be right up your alley. Particularly if you are already a TTRPG enthusiast or have been looking to get into the hobby and you enjoy superhero fiction. Regardless of your preferred setting, if you want to be a superhero there is likely to be a TTRPG out there that fits your style and tastes.
