My heart goes out to all those across the United States that are dealing with the damage and disruption, as well as the tragic loss of life, resulting from Hurricane Helene’s landfall. As a former resident of The Old North State, my heart goes out to those impacted in Western North Carolina and throughout the state. Below are links to government resources for those impacted and to links should you wish to donate money and/or supplies for the relief effort in North Carolina. Similar government resources and relief efforts are available in other states.
Please keep our friends, family, and even our enemies in your thoughts and prayers during this difficult and challenging time. The rebuilding efforts and the disruption to daily life will continue long after the rain stops, the flood waters recede, and the winds calm.
