I became a coffee drinker relatively late in life when I traveled to Massachusetts in the 2010s to attend a workshop outside of Boston. My first cup was a cup of black coffee that I ordered from a Dunkin’ Donuts location just off the interstate on the night that I arrived. I initially wasn’t impressed, although I forced myself to finish the cup. However, I gave coffee another shot prior to my departure flight out of Boston Logan International Airport. I got a cup of coffee with cream and a couple Boston cream donuts from Dunkin’ Donuts after I cleared the security checkpoint. I really enjoyed that cup (and the donuts 🍩 😋). I had officially become a coffee drinker.
During my recent trip to New Orleans, I once again got to enjoy some Cafe du Monde coffee and beignets. I also got to once again enjoy the Lavazza coffee in the hotel room. I didn’t get the opportunity to again enjoy some Community Coffee and PJ’s Coffee as I did during my previous trip to The Big Easy. In case you were not aware, New Orleans is very much a coffee city. I am looking forward to visiting Providence, Rhode Island later this year as part of a vacation in Newport, Rhode Island. Apparently, the people of Providence really enjoy their coffee.
In any case, enjoy this ranking of a number of popular coffee brands (click link below). As with many such rankings, you are probably not going to agree with the results. But the good news is that nobody gets to tell you what brands you are allowed to buy and enjoy. 😋 ☕️
