“What Might Have Been” (Little Texas)

Live long enough and you might find yourself looking back on the past and wondering how things might have turned out differently. I believe that things happen for a reason and that often things ultimately turn out for the best. I do believe that, but it can be difficult not to at least entertain alternative outcomes. Funny though how during such musings I almost never consider the very real possibility that had things worked out differently, it might have ended up being a complete, unmitigated disaster.

Anyway, here's a touching song suggesting that while you might be curious about "What Might Have Been," you are probably better off leaving the past in the past because you simply can't go back. Of course, the music video ends after one of the characters in the music video has an interesting chance encounter with an old flame in the twilight of his life. 😉
