“Thing Called Love” (Bonnie Raitt)

I love this song and the music video’s fun, playful interaction between Bonnie Raitt and a young Dennis Quaid. I discovered Bonnie Raitt like many others with her Nick of Time album that included “Thing Called Love.” I experienced love in its most youthful, yet serious and long-lasting form around that time, as I entered a long-term, long-distance relationship in the early 1990s. In addition to reminding me of that time in my life, it also reminded me of an interaction with a female lead singer between sets at a bar on Carolina Beach’s Boardwalk. 😎
