They’re “Crazy” for Me in Four Oaks

So far this year my most popular post is “Crazy’ (Patsy Cline).” And most of the visits to that particular post came this year from one or more people reportedly in Four Oaks, North Carolina. With VPNs, the ability of people to disable cookies, and information passing through data centers like those owned by Facebook, I can’t really rely on the location information that I get from the website’s analytics to be particularly accurate. Frankly, I don’t really use the location information for anything anyway. For me it’s just interesting information.
This blog exists primarily to give me an outlet in which to express myself. I haven’t really been concerned with gaining followers/subscribers and expanding my reach. I’m not selling myself, my services, or a product. If people come across my humble blog and get something from it, that would please me. If they decide to follow my blog, that’s even better. But I do it primarily to have an outlet.
With that being said, it is a curious thing to get so many visits to that particular post from last year and for so many of those visits being a visitor or visitors checking in supposedly from the vicinity of Four Oaks. The town is not exactly a metropolis. To my knowledge, I don’t know anyone there. However, it is in Johnston County and part of the Triangle region where I once lived. Who knows? Maybe someone was hosting a Patsy Cline event in the area or recently discovered her music and found my blog. 🤔
In any case, “Crazy” IS a fantastic song and worth checking out again and again. Click on link below and enjoy.
