Jimmy Buffett shares the story behind the song, “Tin Cup Chalice,” his recollection of how the Humphrey Bogart movie, Key Largo, helped to fuel his desire to go to Key West, sunsets that were events, and memories of the creator of Cirque du Soleil.
I have enjoyed this song for decades now and I have previously shared it on this blog (https://www.apirateontheprairie.com/post/tin-cup-chalice-jimmy-buffett). Key Largo is a great film and I also like the Bertie Higgins song, “Key Largo,” which contains references to Key Largo and Casablanca. Click on the link below and enjoy a story that only Jimmy Buffett could tell. Also, I have included a link to the original trailer for the film, Key Largo, a link to the playlist for this series of videos by Jimmy Buffett, and a link to the website where you can get yourself a copy of Songs You Don't Know By Heart.
