As a United States history buff, George Washington’s Mount Vernon is one of my favorite destinations. I have been there a handful of times during all seasons and I have always had a great time exploring the estate and its structures, its visitors center, and its dining options. Moreover, I have also enjoyed my visits to America’s Historic Triangle of Jamestown, Williamsburg, and Yorktown. Its thrilling for me to visit these locations tied to George Washington and early United States history.
In the days following our recent Independence Day holiday celebrations, I have enjoyed watching videos relating to the American Revolutionary War and early United States history.
