Learning to live with defeat is one of the great things that we take from playing sports. Sure, it hurts to lose when you gave it your all and came up short. That’s life.

Sometimes you will be disappointed and things just don’t work out the way that you want them to work out. Sometimes you will get your heart broken. Sometimes you have to get up, dust yourself off, and pull your hat down tight. If it was good—I mean really good—you have to be grateful for the good times, be glad for the ride, and look forward to the future.
