I’ve yet to read Watership Down or watch the animated film based upon the book, but maybe I’ll get around to doing it this year or next year. I have a copy of Bunnies & Burrows Fantasy Role Playing Game and I hope to play it one day (along with the other games currently on my shelves)

I have wanted to watch the animated film for some time now. I saw the trailer for the film when I was much younger and it certainly got my attention. I just never got around to watching it. That kind of surprises me, as I loved to rent movies from the video stores and I rented a number of anime and animated movies. How did I not rent and watch Watership Down? For that matter, how did I not get around to reading Watership Down? Oh well. Assuming that I do get around to watching and/or reading the story, it just means that I get to enjoy one or both tellings of the story later in life.

I figure that watching Watership Down and perhaps reading the book will motivate me to try my hand at playing Bunnies & Burrows. I can’t imagine that it would hurt, as I fully expect to enjoy Watership Down, even with its dark moments that are highlighted and hinted at in the trailer.

Below are links to a couple videos about the Bunnies & Burrows Fantasy Role Playing Game and a link to the trailer for the Watership Down 1978 animated film. The first video is just a short teaser video for the Kickstarter campaign for the game published by Frog God Games. The second video is by The Watership Down Podcast. If you’re a fan of Watership Down or you watch the trailer and it convinces you to watch the film and/or read the book, you might enjoy the Bunnies & Burrows Fantasy Role Playing Game. In which case, I would encourage you to check out the videos on the game via the links below to help you to decide if the game is something that you and your family and/or friends would enjoy playing. And if I get around to playing the game, it’s likely that I will share my experiences here on this blog. Later, bunnies.
