“Rapper's Delight” (The Sugarhill Gang)

I remember me and a friend sitting in a tree on the property of the Carowinds amusement park when The Sugarhill Gang was performing. We were camping on the property and were looking for something to do. We didn't have tickets and we didn't have great acoustics, but it was fun to sit there and pretend that we were pulling something over on the venue. I wasn't a huge rap and hip hop fan, but I knew some songs when the genre was relatively new.
