“Manic Monday” (The Bangles)

I was listening to this song early yesterday morning, recalling my youthful crush on The Bangles' lead singer, Susanna Hoffs, and reflecting upon how nice it has been to play hooky from class or work and spend the day in bed with a close female "friend." Maybe it's overcast or rainy out and you both only get out from under the covers to go to the bathroom or to get something to eat or drink. That is certainly a pleasant way to spend a "Manic Monday" or a "Sunday ... My 'I-don't-have-to-run day.'" 😄
