High Noon in Space Reboot?

It would appear that one of my favorite science fiction movies, Outland, is going to get a remake. The movie has been derided as "High Noon in space." I know that it was far from a commercial and critical success. But I really enjoyed it, even if the effects of being exposed to vacuum were not exactly portrayed in a scientifically accurate manner.
