Five Activities or Behaviors That Could End Your Life Suddenly and Brutally

I have previously shared a series of videos from the Lauren the Mortician YouTube channel in a blog post, “Not Exactly Elvira, Mistress of the Dark” (https://www.apirateontheprairie.com/post/not-exactly-elvira-mistress-of-the-dark). I felt that those videos were educational, enlightening, and entertaining. The next video that I am sharing from Lauren the Mortician might just save your life… or just get you to act more sensibly and less recklessly.
Lauren outlines five things that she won’t do as a result of the things that she has witnessed as a mortician. The point isn’t to scare you or to discourage you from living life. It’s to point out the risks involved in some arguably high-risk activities or behaviors.
As a professional truck driver, I will fiercely defend the points made in number two on her list. In my time as a driver of tractor-trailers, I have witnessed some profoundly careless, foolish, reckless, and stupid behavior on the highways and around tractor-trailers. I recently shared one such instance that ended far better than anyone had a reason to expect (https://www.apirateontheprairie.com/post/no-stopping-on-a-dime).
So watch the video by clicking on the link below and perhaps share it with someone that you love, like, or merely tolerate. You might just save a life.
