"If you go to Atlanta, the first question people ask you is, 'What's your business?' In Macon they ask, 'Where do you go to church?' In Augusta they ask your grandmother's maiden name. But in Savannah the first question people ask you is 'What would you like to drink?'" -- John Berendt in his book, Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil

"If you have to leave a party, you always take a traveler" -- Paul Hipp as Joe Odom in the film, Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil
Admittedly, Savannah, Georgia is one of my favorite cities. Good food, some intoxicating and tasty libations, picturesque scenery, history, a little Hollywood, and Southern hospitality. Hopefully I can visit again in the not-too-distant future. 😃🍹🍤🦪
