A Twenty-Year Anniversary

Hard to believe that twenty years have passed since one of the darkest days in the history of the United States of America. The horror and the anger that I felt that day has never really left me. Watching people leap or fall to their deaths from the upper floors of the Twin Towers sticks with you. So does watching the collapse of skyscrapers that kills the people that you know are inside. So does watching Palestinians celebrating the murderous act. Anyway, my thoughts and prayers today will be with those brutally murdered, their loved ones, and the traumatized survivors of that tragic day. They will be with the heroes that responded. They will be with our servicemen, our servicewomen, and their families.
