A Pyrrhic Victory in North Carolina

"Another Such Victory" was produced by the National Park Service and provides a glimpse into a battle that could be considered the beginning of the end to Great Britain's efforts to regain control of her rebellious American colonies. The Battle of Guilford Courthouse on March 15, 1781 was a victory for the British army, but it was a very costly one. Perhaps I will eventually get around to playing out the Battle of Guilford Courthouse (and perhaps the battles at Saratoga, Brandywine, and Eutaw Springs) for myself in the reprinted wargame by GMT Games LLC that I picked up sometime after arriving in Northern Illinois.
